RoChess! tier list, limited to public facts
Searchers ask for a tier list. The public record does not support S-to-D ranks for bots or openings, so this page says what would be required and what exists instead.
What a real tier list would need
For bots: a name, a published strength, and a date. For openings: a sample of games and a result. None of those tables are public. The bots page keeps the claims that do exist. The openings page keeps the 3,800+ sentence and ordinary chess names, with no win-rate column.
A practice order, which is not a power ranking
This order is the creator’s own advice plus the shape of the badge funnel, not a tier of strength.
- An easier bot, because the description says to start there.
- Rated puzzles, because a Puzzles leaderboard exists and the first puzzle badge was far more common than the 100-puzzle badge on 27 Oct.
- A rated game with a person, on a clock you can finish. The nine clocks are not listed officially.

Not published. Beginner to Master is the only official range.
What opening is S-tier?
No RoChess win rates are public, so there is no S-tier opening here.
