RoChess! Puzzles · Updated 2026-10-28
RoChess! puzzles and the count conflict
The games API description on 28 Oct 2026 says “20,000+ rated puzzles.” Several guides written between 18 and 22 Oct 2026 still say 1,300+. Both sentences stay on the page.
Which number to trust
Use the current official description for the catalogue size: 20,000+. Treat 1,300+ as an older third-party sentence that was not updated when the description changed. I am not averaging them.
There is a Puzzles leaderboard in the same description. How a puzzle rating moves is not explained. The rating page covers that gap: rated is not a published formula.
Badge counts from 27 Oct 2026
The Roblox badges API, logged at 22:38 UTC on 27 Oct 2026, reported these awarded counts. They are not player totals, and I did not re-pull the endpoint on 28 Oct.
| Badge | Awarded |
|---|---|
| Puzzle Solver | 82,533 |
| 10 Puzzles Solved | 49,936 |
| 50 Puzzles Solved | 8,198 |
| 100 Puzzles Solved | 1,909 |
| 500 Puzzles Solved | 37 |
| 1,000 Puzzles Solved | 7 |
The drop from the first puzzle to 100 puzzles is steep. That describes how far people got on that day. It is not a difficulty rating for puzzle number 500.
A pass named Infinite Puzzles! was not for sale on 28 Oct 2026. What the free puzzle limit is, if any, is not in the description.
No daily answer key
RoChess! is a rated chess game, not a one-puzzle-per-day quiz with a published solution. Building a page of “today’s answer” would mean inventing a format the public record does not show. Practice with bots and the opening names on openings instead.
